Am I doing something wrong or is it just the way the system works ?
When you are satisfying a call up against a specific aircraft or tagging a call up to an aircraft, one of the fields to be completed is the "Status" i.e Repetitive, No further action etc.
If you want to choose a "Status" from the Control File i.e the ones on the individually defined pick list, you have to first choose an entry from the initial "Status Options" and then delete a character and hit return to force the full pick list to appear. Is there a way to go straight to the user defined status table rather than having to muck about deleting characters to force the table to appear ?.
Also, one of the system defined options for Status is "Not Applicable" and when this is selected it populates the field with "N/A - By". In much older versions of CAFAM you could then add you own comment on the end of this field i.e N/A- By DOM" or N/A by S/N" but now you can't. If you add to the "N/A-By" status the system automatically calls up the user defined status table. Does the "N/A-By" status need to be on the inital list anymore if you cannot add the reason ?
