Anybody else having problems with component fit forcing you to choose a position from a Module description list ?

When you use the Component Control screen to record an installed component you cannot continue past the "position" field. I've tried hitting the escape key. but the system point blank refuses to go on until you pick a position from the list.

I would have tried to create either a blank or "N/A" in the list but I can't find this particular list in the Control Files menu.

Does anybody have a solution for this as at the moment I am fitting batteries and fire extinguishers in the "Main Rotor" position.

Additional Note to J.D. - For future pull down lists like this, could we have "N/A" as the top entry on the list, it would save a lot of scrolling as the majority of our components do not need a location.

Yes, we initially had a problem but I changed all the 'positions' in the list; you can do that in A/C Recs > Module Replacement > Define & Set up Module (not in Control Files).

You'll be presented with the list, use CTRL + N to enter a new one (as you wish) or just delete the ones you don't want/need.

I just changed the list to suit our own requirements.

PD- Thanks for the help.

I was looking in completely the wrong place for the list. I'll go and create my new list now.

Thanks again.
